The Daily: Alley Cats


On a cold december evening, I made the journey to the small town of Prince Anne, Maryland to the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. To do a story about the UMES women's bowling team with The Daily's Chris Strauss, a team that has won two national titles in the last four years. Compared to the predominantly african american student body, the team is made up mostly international students and women that have been recruited from around the country.

Wreath Laying at Arlington Cemetery for The Daily

Each December thousands of volunteers and soldiers pour out to Arlington Cemetery on a cold Saturday morning to lay wreaths on the headstones of the fallen as part of "Wreaths across America."

Watery Bangkok

Zombies...Zombies

On Friday I received an email from The Daily, with one of the most unique and interesting assignments I have ever had. To go photograph the "Run for your Lives" 5k mud run. The runners have one more challenge that they have to deal with on the course and that is to make it through without getting caught by dozens of zombies...

You have a flight simulator in your office!!

Last week, I was contracted by United Technologies to photograph their board members getting a tour of their showroom here in Washington DC. One of the coolest showrooms ever..they have a full scale flight simulator in there!!!
